Family Discovery Day: Our Magnetic Earth

Saturday, April 28th from 11:00am – 4:00pm

Magnetism is an important topic on the Iron Range.   Mines use magnetism to both map out iron ore bodies and to process the ore.  But did you know that the earth and sun have magnetic fields as well?  Come join us for a fun day of exploring magnets, both natural and manmade, and learn how magnetism affects our everyday life.
