Family Discovery Day: Wild Weather

Weather can make us linger outside, run for cover, or stare in amazement at the sky.  It’s all around us every day.  Carol Christenson, an experienced meteorologist from the National Weather Service will be at the MN Discovery Center to share her knowledge and enthusiasm about weather, forecasting and disaster preparedness.  Take a look at why flooding happens with a hands-on table top flood model, discover why some clouds look puffy and others flat or wispy, make a favorite weather collage, and more.
