Genealogy Genie

The Iron Range Research Center (IRRC) staff is launching a new program!  Beginning in August, the staff will be hosting a monthly event called “Genealogy Genie.”  Each program will focus on a specific topic aimed at helping you improve your family and local history research.

Topics for this autumn will include accessing digital newspapers, using the IRRC photographic collections (including ordering reproductions), reviewing the IRRC genealogy database, and hunting for people not included in the IRRC genealogy database.

Each session will last about an hour, and there is no admission fee to the research center.  More details for each session will be provided as the event approaches.
