Getting ready for the holidays with nutrition and exercise

Here’s what we are going to do at the retreat:

9 am- 10 am Registration, Morning refreshments and social hour

10 am-10:30 pm Mini sessions (choose between):

Becky’s exercise corner

Angela’s mini health assessment corner

10:30 am-12 pm Speaker Angela Reimer, NTP will speak on the foundations of health, how to make healthier versions of holiday foods, and share tasty recipes.

12 pm- 12:30 pm Social time

12:30 pm- 1:30 pm Lunch

1:30 pm- 2 pm Mini sessions (choose between):

2 pm-3:30 pm Speaker Becky Zubich will provide an interactive session on exercise and mind-body skills to help you stay active and stress-free through the upcoming holiday season.  **Please bring/wear comfortable clothing and a yoga/exercise mat**

3:30 pm-4 pm Q&A and feedback forms.

Here’s what we are going to eat at the retreat:

Morning refreshments (upon arrival):

Almond spice muffins

Banana chocolate muffins

Yogurt-both plain milk based and coconut milk

Fruit-blueberries, and raspberries

Granola-gluten free and organic

Drinks: sugar-free/low sugar drink mix, ice water, Kombucha (fermented tea), and coffee


Homemade Chicken noodle soup

Homemade Chicken dumpling soup

Salad bar:

Organic lettuce mix (romaine, spinach and Kale)

Shredded beets/carrots


Sliced eggs


Gluten free croutons

Sunflower seeds

Shredded cheese

Green onions

Homemade avocado balsamic vinaigrette and organic dressing options

Drinks: Ice water, grass fed milk, coconut milk, almond milk, coffee, and tea

Desserts: Black bean brownies, and Strawberry poke cake with coconut milk whipped cream

**Elimination of  many food allergens have been made, but if you have any allergies to what has been mentioned, please contact Angela and she will make an alternative**

**All foods are gluten free, free range, organic, low to no sugar, and homemade.  There will be a few milk options for those who can tolerate milk.  Milk free options will be available**
