PolyMet Public Hearing
Attention Chamber members, friends and supporters;
THE WORLD BELONGS TO THOSE WHO SHOW UP!
The public hearings for PolyMet’s permits are a couple of weeks away. Your help is essential in getting us over the finish line for permitting this very important project. This is an extremely exciting time for the Region and the entire State with PolyMet moving closer toward being Minnesota’s first fully permitted copper/nickel mining operation!
Please plan to attend the hearings on Wednesday, February 7th in Aurora, and Thursday, February 8th in Duluth.
The time is now to get on that bus! (See info below.)
Because it is important to have our voices heard and to support a project so important to our area, we have arranged for buses to leave from several Iron Range Communities to attend the Duluth hearing. It is crucial for us to show solidarity and visual support for the mining industry.
