Rampage at the Ridge

Over the years, soldiers have returned from war experiencing devastating effects such as depression, unemployment, substance abuse, physical disabilities, as well as marital and family issues. Throughout our Iron Range communities, service members receive little support locally with few if any providers with programs designed to specifically focus on the needs of veterans and their families.During 2014, the United Way of Northeastern MN will be conducting a formal needs assessment to gather information from local veterans and their families regarding their individual struggles and needs, as well as program ideas to meet these needs. The data collected will be used to leverage funding to develop and expand much needed local services.
