Exciting Announcement from the Board of Directors!

Dear Laurentian Chamber Members and Community,

We are happy to announce that the Laurentian Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors has hired a new president and CEO to lead this incredible organization.  Erik Holmstrom has an impressive list of skills and experience that will be especially valuable as the community weathers the COVID-19 pandemic.

Erik grew up in Northeastern Minnesota, graduated from Duluth Denfeld High School and attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.  He worked as the Director of Marketing and Development for Lakeview Christian Academy before moving with his family to Bismarck, North Dakota.  While in Bismarck, Erik worked as the Director of the IDEA Center and as a business instructor at United Tribes Technical College.  He serves on the National Board of the Marketing Educators Association and is a 2016 graduate from the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. Erik currently lives on the Iron Range with his wife and four children.

We are excited to have Erik lead the Laurentian Chamber of Commerce!  His first day is May 4, 2020.  Please reach out to Erik and welcome him to our wonderful business community.

Wishing you continued health and perseverance through the challenges we are all facing during this uncertain time.

Sincerely,

The Laurentian Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
