On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the Laurentian Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of celebrating the grand opening of True North Goodwill's new location in Virginia, just next door to our Chamber office. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took pace at 8:45 A.M. and the doors opened to the public promptly after.

This new Goodwill location offers more than just a shopping experience. In addition to its wide selection of affordable and unique items, it features a donor drive-thru, making it easier than ever for individuals to donate gently used goods. The location also houses a Career Navigation Center, providing valuable services and resources for those seeking employment and career development.

The grand opening was a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and explore everything Goodwill has to offer. From shopping to donating to career assistance, this new store will plan an essential role in supporting the community's growth and success.
