Warm Connections on a Chilly Morning: January Breakfast Connections at V.C.C.U.
The Laurentian Chamber of Commerce kicked off the new year with a fantastic January Breakfast Connections event, hosted by Virginia Cooperative Credit Union (VCCU). Despite the chilly January morning in Virginia, our spirits were warm as we gathered to connect and learn more about one of our outstanding Chamber members.
VCCU truly made the morning special with its hospitality and delicious homemade breakfast spread. Attendees enjoyed a delightful French toast bake, savory sausage links, and refreshing yogurt parfaits - all prepared by the VCCU team. The warm meal was the perfect compliment to the engaging conversations and networking opportunities.
During the event, VCCU shared exciting updates, including their competitive loan rates and the addition of a new team member. They also celebrated an impressive achievement: not a single employee left their organization in 2024, underscoring their reputation as a great place to work. It's clear that VCCU not only invests in their members but also their employees - a value we admire and celebrate.
We were thrilled to see so many professionals from our business community come together for this event. Attendees represented a variety of organizations, including Up North Adventure Vans, Hometown Focus, Range FanCon, Iron Range Tourism Bureau, Entrepreneur Fund, Frandsen Bank & Trust, Virginia Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and North Star Credit Union. The diverse perspectives and shared experiences made for meaningful discussions and connections that we hope will continue to grow.
A huge thank you to Virginia Cooperative Credit Union for hosting this memorable event and to all who braved the cold to join us. Your participation is what makes these gatherings so impactful.
If you missed out, don't worry - our next Breakfast Connections is just around the corner. Stay tuned for details and be sure to join us for another morning of great food, networking, and inspiration.
