The Summer Block Party - A Community Affair
This year's Summer Block Party hosted by W.A. Fisher and Revive Virginia in downtown Virginia brought the community together for an evening of fun, networking, and celebration.
On Wednesday, June 26th the 100 block of Virginia was alive with energy and excitement as local businesses and community members gathered outside W.A. Fisher at 123 Chestnut Street. This no-cost event was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to support local businesses and enjoy a summer evening together.
Attendees had the chance to indulge in delicious offerings from the food truck Buns to Go, which was on-site serving a variety of mouth-watering options. For those looking to cool off with a refreshing drink, Flaimer's Bar and Popper's Bar were open, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
Claire & Harlow Co. opened it's doors as an exciting new addition to our business community, and located across the street from W.A. Fisher.
The event was enlivened by performances from the talented dancers from Downtown Dance Academy. Their dynamic routines and engaging performances captivated the audience, adding a vibrant and artistic flair to the evening.
A special thank you goes out to W.A. Fisher, Revive Virginia, and all the businesses on the 100 block for their participation and support. Events like the Summer Block Party are vital in fostering a strong sense of community and encouraging local commerce.
Thank you to everyone who attended this event, and everyone who contributed to its success.
