Melissa Cox
Melissa Cox serves as the CEO/President of the Laurentian Chamber of Commerce.

Melissa is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from the College of St. Scholastica. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Melissa has a love for the Iron Range and a passion for the people who live and work there. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, friends, and her dog, being outdoors, being active with running, walking, playing softball, and curling, and also loves a new adventure.
Melissa is committed to working with members to carry out the mission of the chamber, which is “promoting business through education and advocacy to advance the prosperity of the region.”

The chamber is hiring an Executive Assistant / Events Coordinator.

This person will be responsible for coordinating events and fundraisers, performing bookkeeping, supporting chamber committees and providing general office duties. Hours are approximately 32 hours a week; could be more or less, as needed. Pay: $15 per hour.
